Who the Site Is for

Ohio Manufacturers Directory is a business directory for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and accounts are for people 18 and older acting for a business. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

What We Collect

• Account details: email, password (stored encrypted by our sign-in provider), name and job title.
• Listing details: company information, logos and photos you submit. Listings are public.
• Messages: quote requests and contact forms, including name, email, phone and message, shared with the listing owner you contact.
• Partner details: for affiliates and agencies, business details, tax forms and payout details.
• Usage: pages viewed, searches and outbound clicks, recorded without cookies to show owners how their listings perform.
• Claim activity: when you request a claim on a listing and when that claim is approved or rejected, we record that it happened (without your name, email or other personal details) so we can measure how listings move to verified status.

Cookies and Analytics

Google Analytics and PostHog (visitor activity, with screen recording turned off) only store cookies if you click Accept in the cookie banner. You can change your choice any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer. We do not record your screen or keystrokes. Listing claim events are sent to PostHog separately, without cookies and without personal details, so they happen even if you reject analytics cookies. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots on some forms, and our fonts are served from our own site. When you submit a quote request, contact request, advertising quote or correction form, the details you type (name, email, phone, company, message) are also shared with our CRM provider, Connectly, whether or not you accept analytics cookies. If you click Accept, we also use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure our Facebook and Instagram advertising: Meta receives the pages you view and when you submit a form or create an account, along with your browser details, IP address and Meta cookie identifiers (not your name, email or phone number). Nothing is sent to Meta if you reject, and you can withdraw any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer.

How We Use It

• To run the directory, your account, listings, invoices and payouts.
• To send service emails about your account, inquiries and renewals.
• To prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who We Share It with

We share information with the listing owners you contact, and with service providers that host our site and database, send email, and provide analytics and bot protection, only so they can do that work.

Your Choices

You can edit your listing and account in your dashboard. To access, correct or delete your information, email [email protected]. We keep invoice and payout records as long as tax law requires.
